Belgium Monastic Retreat

Just back from a really good few days in Brugge with Gareth and Ian from Moot and Karen from COTA in Seattle, thinking about and experiencing Monastic traditions. We sampled a good selection of the 500 types of beer brewed in Belgium. The most elusive of which and perhaps the finest beer known to humanity was the Westvleteren 12 - so exclusive it is only available from the Abbey of St Sixtus (and only 6 bottle each).
