St Anton - New Year 2006

Just got back from a much needed break in St Anton, Austria. Perhaps the best snow ever - pics here. St Anton is a great resort, but the pistes are swarming with people. We bought avalanche kit and went back country and found miles of off piste, some of the finest lines I may ever ski and a taste of what skiing was like before the crowds and lifts - just pure mountains. Breathtaking.
