Using the Dell 1100 printer with Mac OSX

It took a bit of work but I managed to get this excellent little Dell 1100 USB laser printer to work with my Mac. Dell clearly aren't going to provide Mac drivers for the 1100, but I found an easy work-around here which I has been adapted from the samsung ML-1210 which is almost identical.

It uses a Samsung driver which you can download here and an open scource postscript converter from here.
Install the two files, then plug in the printer, go to 'Print & Fax' on your system preferences, hit the + button to add new printer and the Dell 1100 should appear. Select it, and then tell it which driver to use. Samsung ML-1210 seems to be the best one.
