For ages I have been pursuing the authentic experience of God, cynic and sceptic though I am I have toured the mega churches and micro churches, read the books and journals, scoured the internet, the God channel, the airwaves. And what have I found? Nothing. Nothing that gives me any assurance that there is another way, a better system, a greater experience.
Behind the lights and noise, behind the hype, and the grand schemes there is the same thing. The Gospel of a suffering servant, the mercy of God to sinners, the hope of eternal life.
The authentic experience of God is not in the thunder or in the storm but in the still small voice.
